School Information

The alternative program is based on delivering the right instruction at the right time through a systematic intake process of creating an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for each student who attends our alternative program.  Based on the needs of each student whether it is credits, remediation, or learning styles, a plan will be developed to meet these needs

Every student will have an ILP upon entering the program.  This will occur during the registration process in May, June, or August, or throughout the school year.  All students, along with their parents, will have an intake meeting to determine the student's ILP and any other services that may help the students be successful in school.

Each student's ILP will be reviewed annually or as needed.  The plan will include a description of the educational and behavioral goals appropriate for the student.

The majority of the students will be encouraged to participate in offsite or onsite internships, service learning opportunities, job training and/or community service.

The program's schedule is flexible with half-day and full-day offerings.  The student's schedule will be determined in the ILP assessment.

Transportation needs will be discussed at the ILP meetings.
