(*Note - work permits will no longer be issues by the high school beginning July 1, 2021)
If your student needs a work permit, please have them obtain an "Intent to Employ/A1" form from their hiring employer.  The employer will fill out their sections and sign it, the student, or parent/guardian will fill out their sections, and both student and parent/guardian need to sign it as well.  Your student can bring the A1 form in to Ericka at the Alt School front desk along with a valid Driver's License/State ID, or Birth Certificate, to copy.  A brief question & answer session will be needed to fill out information in the Department of Labor website (click on the DOL link for further info & FAQ's), the building administrator, and the student, will then sign the official copy to return to the employer.

EACS's new Career Center is located on the North side of our building and they are doing great things this year with all the new classes!
Please visit the Career Center (opens in a new window) 's web page to check them out!
